Two weeks ago, I shared "how to become an idea machine" (inspired by James Altucher's work). Last week, I talked about prompting yourself — in order to make it easier to become an idea machine.
I hadn't intended to turn this topic into a series of emails, but while I was generating my own list of ten daily ideas, I had — surprise, surprise — an interesting idea.
I made an Idea-Machine Machine. It's quite simple, while also being quite helpful.
As we build the 10-ideas-a-day habit that's at the core of "becoming an idea machine," it's hard to know what kind of ideas to focus on.
So, the Idea-Machine Machine will give you a new prompt to think about, every time you click the button.
For each prompt, think of as many ideas as possible — but at least one, before moving on.
We'll get lazy if we just start clicking through the prompts, waiting for "the right one" to speak to us. Instead, let's challenge ourselves to always work the one we've got first.
I hope you'll check it out, bookmark it, use it, and let me know what you think.
